Nha Trang has a lovely beach and the most popular activities in Nha Trang revolve around water. The beach is 6 km long and narrow but it's more lively than other beach destinations like Mui Ne and Phu Quoc. Nha Trang has one of the biggest and nicest beaches in Vietnam.

It's also the scuba diving centre of Vietnam. Dives will turn out be great when you see sea horse, pipefish, flounder, scorpionfish, lionfish, eels, grouper, shrimps, sweet lips, butterfly fish, clownfish (nemos) and many others.

 

Thap Ba Hot Spring Center is a famous tourist for mud spa in Nha Trang. This is a brilliant way to spend a morning or afternoon. It is believed to make your skin smoother and healthier after the mud bath. You will experience the mud bath, which fun and have the massage pool, which near the bath area was great after the mud bath. There is also a swimming pool area swam in warm mineral water. There are bath packages to suit all budgets, and lockers are available to save your valuables. Photographers also roam about taking pics if you want souvenirs of your visit. In addition, there is coffee shop to serve a snack. They also have private VIP mud baths, flower and medicinal herb bath, and private massages & therapeutic services. 

XQ Historical Village is a cultural and art center for hand embroidery, tea house and art gallery. You will easy to see this beautiful place if you walk along the busy beachfront area together with shops and restaurants.

Po Nagar Tower is a complex of temples located near the Cai River, and at the mountain of Cu Lao. This temple was dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who believed to find the Hindu goddesses of Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini.

The Long Son pagoda was erected over a hundred years old, but mostly known for the 24 metre high Big White Buddha sitting atop of the hill .

It was build in honor of the Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc who burned himself to death at Nguyen Dinh Chieu- Cach Mang Thang 8 road intersection on 11 June 1963 to protest the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government led by Ngô Đình Diệm.

On his way from Hue to Saigon, he stayed overnight at this pagoda and this was a reason for this huge statue. Moreover, there is his small statue placed inside the entrance of the pagoda. You have to climb 150 steps  to walk up to the Buddha statue and on the way up you should make a stop at the statue of the reclining Buddha which is a new statue which is placed about a third of the way up the hill. From the top, there are views overlooking Nha Trang. This temple is headquarter of the Buddhist Studies Association for Khanh Hoa Province.

Tram Huong Tower is located on Tran Phu- the central beach road. When you walk on the beach road, you will easy to see an orange color lotus-shape building. This building gave Nha Trang beach a unique imagery. It comes together with stunning beach views along with mountains and islands, across the street there were colonial style buildings with restaurants, hotels, stores and exhibition hall

The Mountain Church (official name Kito Cathedral) was built on 1928 on a small mountain which name is Bông, just about 12 kilometers high. Because of granite built so, the local called the Stone Church, it also other names: Nha Trang Church, Roundabout Church. The church was built entirely by the architecture of the Western Catholic Church. Architecture is similar to Sa Pa church and some other places in Vietnam. The church face toward the North, there are two paths lead on the church. In 1940, the first path was built with 53 stair steps; it started from Thai Nguyen road. Until 1942, the second path was built from the roundabout lead to the back yard of the church.

In Nha Trang you have a cable car going over the ocean to enter Hon Tre Island, where you have a big luxurious resort called Vinpearl. There is an amusement park connected to it and if you take the cable car then the entry to the amusement park is included. Don't miss this place if you visit Nha Trang.

Eating is an integral part of the trip.  There are very nice restaurants with hundreds of types of specialties in Nha Trang. The most popular of them should be steamed dishes with a long list in the menu. They can be steamed fish rolling with rice pancakes and vegetables, steamed crab with beer, steamed squid with fresh ginger, steamed clam with lemongrass or steamed shrimp in coconut juice.

Moreover, eating the seafood which grilled right there on the beach is the wonderful experience. Adventurous foodies can sample bun cha ca, a soup made from sailfish and jellyfish.
