It is located 10km in the North- East from the city center and 693m above sea level. Being looked at from a far distance, Son Tra peninsula looks like an enormous mushroom. Sandy beaches with soft white sand and glassy sea water have created a perfect place to rest. This is also a national conservation which protected by national preserved forest laws. It is also famous for the swell vegetational cover and valuable animals. The natural beauty here is very fascinating. It  was rumoured to be the chosen place of fairies to relax long time ago. In the top of Son Tra mountain, visitors can enjoy the fresh cool air and take time to behold the whole view of Danang city as well as Ngu Hanh mountain,etc. Also here, tourists can visit Rock stream next to the foot of the mountain, be truly at one with the cool and clean seawater, sit on the soft sand or big rocks eaten and cleaned by hundred-year tides, listen to murmur of surf in the pretty houses or follow the wings of finches to find out where they nested in the cliff. Right under the mountain, the irresistible coral reefs are the perfect places for the visitors who love adventures and diving.The city government has increasingly invested in building more luxury resorts and hotels  to sastify the relaxing demands of tourists.
